Tl dr - it's not very appealing but they're fine for being minor Q1 upgrades that'll be shared among a ton of Riders. Like if they really want to sell hundreds of collectable trinkets, this would be the way to go since they're easy to produce and they're not very major in the show. Not only that, but each buckle is only for half the body. This is especially in a multi Rider show with a battle royale and you don't been to have a lot of intricate Q1 forms clogging up the show when they'll be forgotten anyway.
Like honestly I'd actually prefer these small auxiliary power-ups/items to be fairly cheap so that way they don't focus too much on them and more of the budget can be used on creating the actual new suits and forms. Now it definitely doesn't look very good because it's cheap which the other anon is right about, but it's really not big of a deal knowing the context of it as being kind of minor power-ups/weapons you pick up during the game.
